A fairly* large quantity of w< n-l that Otago growers held hack during the slump fo catalogued for sale at Dunedin t°-nmrrov. . and if all that is to h e offered is sold the town stores will fo practically cleared. Classers after tlieir inspection say that the wool to hand for toLinoirrow’s sale is well up to standard quality*. Tho proportion of fleeeo wool to he offered i s . slightly*, below the average, since for such, wool fair prices were obtain, able at the previous auction sale here, hut it is possible that, locks, bellies, pieces, etc*., will now command values 1 that are up to owners’ appraisement, and, if &o\ tho, average per pound will he satisfactory. Farmers arc looking hopefully to to-morrow’s results.
