Armed with an order granted by the Supreme Court at the instance of a creditor, three constables appeared at tlic office of the secretary of the Waipa pa kauri Racing Club on the course during the progress of the dub’s races and impounded ail the funds in the possession of the secretary. The race meeting was well advanced ami a messenger* had just arrived from the gate bringing with him all the takings for the day. The meeting is a non-tot a lisa tor one. No stake money has been paid out*. In the absence of tiie dub’s solicitor. the secretary was unable to take any action.
