SALE OF HORSES BIDDING WAS SLACK Christchurch, April 7. At a sale of racehorses at Riccarton the attendance was large, but the bidding was slack, a number being passed in. Oil account of the late Mr J. S. Barrett, Ties Spec, by Grand Court —San Bluie, two years was sold for 80 guineas to Mr L. P. Barrett. On account of Mr G. H. Grigg, Coroner, bv Shambles—Coronata, three years, was sold for 85 guineas to Mr T. Lister. These were the top prices.
