This is the fifth attack on Arount Kamel, which is more than 25.000 feet; liisb. tint; no climbers have not within 2000 feet of the summit. The highest Himalayan peak a.seen,led completely up to now is Mount JonKons (24.000 feel). Among mountaineers familiar with the Himalayan conditions tlu> chances of Mr. Smyf lie’s liai'ty conquering Mount Kamet are considered good.
