That the horse’s da> on the farm is not yet done was strikingly emphasised at the auction sales at the Royal Faster Show. The outstanding- feature was the demand for drought siock. Practically all colts sold m excellent prices, ranging from 62 to 170 guineas. Competition was correspondingly good for purebred Clydesdale stallions, mares and fillies, whie ast week’s sacs of beef and dairy cattle were the best for two yeaars.
