FEILDING ASSOCIATION THE ANNUAL MEETING Air V". E. Smith presided at the annual meeting of the Feilding and District Cricket Association held last night :n Air Jas. Penney*s office, with a good attendance ol? delegates and cricketers. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £‘l4 14s 9d. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, A»r C. E. Taylor (Mayor) President, Air V. E. Smith. A ieeP:x»sident, Air E. H. Lange. Secretary and Treasurer. Air T. Donaldson. Coram-ttee, Messrs T. K. Hay, W. Power G. Y. Wild. A G. Farmer, and X. L. Fitzpatrick. A letter was before the meeting from the President of the Alanawatu Cricket Association as to the possibility of Fei ding entering teams in the Palmerston competitions.— The meeting decided to reply' stating the local players were not favourable to the proposal. Reference having been made to the fact that last season, for some rep. games, outside cricketers visiting Feilding at, the time were selected and local cricketers overlooked. Air Donaldson and ATr Lange said it was a 1 Avars difficult to get players during the holidays. The following teams were nominated : Senior—Feilding, Public Service. Old Boys, Colvton. B grade— Feilding, Public Service, Old Boys, High School 1 and Nondescripts. If necessary. High School will enter a second team to avoid a bye. Tt was not certain whether or not Sandon or Ha!combe would nominate a ten m.
