LINE OF DEMARCATION Tli 0 line of <k inarration between work done by dentists and dental mechanics was demonstrated in the Court at Hamilton when J. L. Shan-non.-n dental mechanic, was charged with practising as a dentist without a license and with leading the public to believe that he was practising dentistry. The evidence showed that Shannon had inserted an advertisement under the cap.ion “Dentistry” in the local newspaper claiming to do all "classes of deture work. Mr. AVyvern Wilson, S.M.. held I hat defendant led the public to believe that he was doing dental.work for which li e was not qualified and ordered him to pay costs. In icspect of the other charges he Magistrate said defendant had not confined himself to mechanical work and lined him £2 and ordered him to pay costs totalling £ll 9s.
