TO-DAY’S ORDER PAPER Me R. M. Watson, S.M., presided at the sitting of the fi.M. Court this morning. CYCLING ON THE FOOTPATH J. H. Penney, charged with riding a cycle on the fooftpatli, did not appear. Evidence was given hv Constable Gt'lard. A fine of 10s and 10= costs Imposed. Harold Haydon, similarly charged, was also fined 10s and 10s costs. CHIMNEY ON FIRE M. Karsten, who did not appear, was charged with allowing a. el 1 ini 11c v to catch fire. Constable Pike gave formal evidence. A fine of 20s with 10s costs was imposed. THE CIVIL LIST Judgment was given for plaintiff in each of the Mowing cases: E. J. Kendall (Mr Cnllinane) v. T.
