In securing the rights to “The Desert Song the Warners obtained the entire musical score and the libretto as well. In other words, they bought all the rights just as if they were to produce the musical work on the legitimate stage, in presenting “Ihe lAesert Song” on the screen all of its original numbers have been retained. The score is played by the Vitaphone symphony orchestra of too musirians. “The Desert Song,” addition to a cast inrlnding John Boles, Cartolla King. Myma Lot, Louise Fazenda, Johnny Arthur, Marie Walls, Jack Pratt, Robert E. Guzman, Otto Hoffman, Del Elliott and others, has a chorus of i™ voices. Roy Del Ruth directed it. BILLIE DOVF. AND ROD LA ROCOUF. AT TIVOLI Beautiful Billie Dove becomes modern again in her latest picture, “The Man and the Moment,” at the Tivoli. The story is from the gifted pen of the famous Elinor Glyn. It is the tale of an orphan girl who marries a man to escape the limitations put upon her by her guardian. The hectic experiences thta follov' make up a story of intense interest and with many dramatic movements. Rod La Rocque. one of the most popular leading men in pictures, is seen opposite Miss Dove.
