FREEZING EMPLOYEES NORMAL KILLING RESUMED (Per Pres s Association) Christchurch, April 17. A truce has been arranged in connection with the trouble af, the freezing works in Canterbury and work was being carried on normally at nil places. Mr H. C. Rev, ,]l, secretary of fhe Canterbury Freezing Workers’ Union, said the executive- of tilt? union held a long meeting to discuss fh ] whole position and as a result’of a deputation waiting on representatives of the ’South Island .Freezing Companies’ Association normal work has he.*i resumed.
