LEGISLATORS’ SALARIES
LAST BONUS PAYMENT Members of Parliament are now again in receipt of their old honoraria at the rate of £450 a year, the final instalment of last year’s additional £IOO bonus having been paid at beginning of this month. At the end of last session members voted flVemsu.ves the extra, sum for the then current financial year, and just before Christmas received m a lump sum £66 LAs 4d, representing a monthly apportionment of £8 6s 8d for eight months to November lastThe £8 6s 8d du4 for December was paid in conjunction with that month’s honoraria payment, and t£ f? balance, £25, was distributed in monthiy instalments, together with flic usual allowance, over January, February and March.
