MAIN TRUNK* PROGRESS Satisfaction with the present rate of progress of the construction of the South Main Trunk Railway expressed at last week’s meeting of the Marlborough Progress League, but the opinion was reaffirmed that it was desirable that a start should be maae with the big bridges and short tunnels between the Clarence and the Conway rivers, so that they would be completed by the time the present easy construction is finished.
