BANKING FACILITIES
FOR AUSTRALIAN FARMERS CREDITS TO HELP PRODUCERS (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) (Received 1.50 p.m.) Canberra, March 18. Premier Scnllin announces that (lie Commonwealth Bank will make credits .available to saving banks, rural banks, agricultural banks and ( flier institutions advancing money to farmers and settlers periodically. Such credits will not be disclosed, but. they arc to be used for short dard advances to aid cropping or developing primary or secondary industry commanding a remunerative market.
It is expected that this will enable increased production and absorb the Unemployment.
