NEW lODISED SALT. GOOD MEDICINE FOR LAMBS For a number of years both sheep and dairy farmers have beeu seeking for a suitable highly jrejjined salt lick and which is now being marketed by the X.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., under the naiiie of “Lixit.” This lick is a special Cattle and sheer block containing medical ingredients such as sulphur, potassium of iodine, etc., in correct proportions, the founduion of Lixit is the iiiiest of table salt, purified, finely ground, brought to boiling head and compressed together with a 100 ton pressure machine so as to withstand the wastage in th e "at weather. As termed by thousands of satisfied farmers “The Doctor in the Paddock.” During the past season 2000 tons were sold in Australia and 100 tons in the South Island. To dairy furmers and sheep breeders the results have been wonderful. Farmers can hardly express themselves ,hs to the great results obtained in having Lixit in tile paddock, by keeping their stock healthy. As a milk producer it stands on its own, aiid dairy farmers would be u se to have a few blocks in each paddock so as llie stock cap have it as they require it. It cannot be stressed too highly the fact that for anything producing milk or re quiring milk, the purity of salt is a very vital matter indeed. Give purity and you will get refinement in return. arid give harshness and crudeness. and it must be reflected through the system. The more re tilling you give the system to do the more you weaken it. The less refining the system lia s to do the more strength and energy It has for its other functions. Therefore, give tiie purest possible salt you can to stock and you will find that tile energies of the system instead of being used for refining jnirposes will be devoted to body building and milk production. Lixit Ik aptly described by a famous local stud breeder as the lick that has been sought after for years. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd. are sole agents for Feilding district.

“Sharland’s Vinegar” is pure, strong and piquant. Incomparable for salads, sauces and picltles. Stipulate “Sliarland’s.” All grocers, la bulk or bottles
