MURCHISON’S A. AND P. SHOW PEOPLE COM PLIMF.NTED (Per Frees Association) Nelson, March 17. Hon. G. W. Forties, acting-Pre-mier, who was enthusiastically welcomed, opened th Murchison AgrL cultural and Pastoral Show on Saturday. The attendance! -was almost as large as last year. Mr Forbes complimented (he people upon their decision to hold a show this year notwithstanding all tF|?ii* difficulties. The Minister felt sure that the people had derived much encouragement from the assistance the Dominion had given during fheir time- of trial. If was always heartening to know in time of trouble or distress that others were ready to; lend a helping handfio realised that if would he imJtpssible eompletoly 'to restore the damage done.
