HONOURED BY KING
INVESTITURE AT THE PALACE NINETY RECIPIENTS (Anst. and N.Z. Cable) Rugby, March 7. The King held a second investiture at Buckingham Palace. The investiture, which was in contrast with the official one on Tuesday, was private and morning dress was worn. The 90 recipients of honours and decorations were drawn from all ranks of life, and included a miner and a seaman. The King presented nine medals for gallantry in saving life at sea. Some of these were in collection with the rescues from ships in distress during the tempestuous gales of last year.
