FARMERS’ HOLD THEIR WOOL STORES WELL FILLED Strong action by the brokers was possible following the wool sales crisis which culminate dab. There appears not, to he tlie slightest chance of the buyer’s action in refusing t° attend North Islund sales unless the 20,000 bales minima was reached leading to growers releasing their wool at early sales. One A\ ellingbon firm has placed over 6000 bales of .wool in store., and has not been asked to advance a penny on itOwers of this wool are- well content ’to wait, for the market to* take a better turn, and evidently can ford to do so. Storage charges will be heavy, but Id rise would more than cover everything. j Wellington sales showed that a surprisingly large number of growers were able to hold, and determined some time ago that their clip should not go on tlie market. It is expected that similar conditions will prevail in Napier and Wanganui.
