TWO INSTALLATIONS
At this week’s meeting of the local Druids’ Lodge |lio following officers were installed for the ensuing halfyear by fhe district President, Bro. Barltrop:—•

Pioneer Juvenile Lodge: J.P.A-, Rio. K. Noble; A.D., Bro. S. Street"; V.A., Bro. J. Williams; secretary, Bro. G. Rosoman; T.G., Bro. A. Chandler; A.G. Bro. J. Resketh ; A.D.B.’s., Bros. Kitchen, The delegate to flic special general meeting of the Hospital Association reported on alterations to rules, which enable the Association to continue payment of members’ hospital accounts to any Hospital Board in Now Zealand, with the exception of the Palmerston Board, when benefits would he paid direct to the members. Such action was deemed necessary on account of the demand of t-Re latter Board of 8s per day for guaranteed payment, this being 66 2-3 per cent-, which costs them only 1 per cent to collect, whereas their average collection is 35 per cent., at- the collection cost of 9 per cent. Supper was provided! by the Social Committee, after which the adult members played a further round for Their Crux? Cup. The half yearly balance sheet to he presented' at- the next meeting will "disclose some interesting figures.
