AFFIXES TO GERMAN NAAIES “HONOURABLE DISTINCTION’’ (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Berlin, Nov. 3. Under a Government decree authorising the survivors of the original Emdon to; affix .“Emden” to tha family names as an- honourable distinction, survivors in, many parts of Germany to-day took the necessary ipgal steps in the local courts for tlie expedition of applications and also the remitting of costs, but the Hamburg Senate has now rejected the claims of ten residents of Hamburg, who arc canvassing all parties in order to secure a. revocation of the decision
