COAL BY-PRODUCTS

A proposal for the establishment of extensive coal by-products works at South Maitland, N.S.W., has been made by Mr A. A. Holland, a mining agent, who holds 32,000 acres under mining lease between Mulbring and Ellalong. He was applying for suspensiou of labour conditions when ho outlined the scheme. Mr Holland said the German Dye Trust was interested in the scheme, which it was anticipated would, employ 1500 men.
