RAIN AND LIGHTNING (Per Press Association) Auckland. .June 25. The StaEs Kaitaia correspondent stales that, a ferritic electrical storm commenced at’ 2 o'clock Ibis morning, and lasted till 4 o’clock. There was an Incessant roll of thunder, and the countryside.was lit up with the glare of. tjie lightning. Houses and other buildings were shaken to their foundations. Rain fell Iri sheets, and nearly an inch was recorded in two hours.
