VERY, FRIENDLY RIVALS ( Aust. and N.Z. Cable) (Official (British Wfirejess) (Received 11.30 a.m.) Rugby, June 25. The newly elected House of Commons assembled to-day for the formal ta'-k of electing a speaker—Captain Fitzroy being re-elected, following which members will be sworn in during the next two or three days. Over 200 of the members did not sit in the last Parliament. Tills afternoon Mr Baldwin, exPremier. rose from his seat on the Opposition benches and held out his hand to Mr MacDonald, the new Prime Minister, who shook it warmly- The members qhfeered heartily as the two leaders walked together to tfe House of Lords to receive the King's message,
