THE STUDENT RIOTS
SEQUEL IN POLICE COURT
(Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Sydney, May 27.
As a. sequel to the undergraduates’ misconduct last Tuesday, at the City Police Court to-day, Thomas Temperley,- aged 19, was fined 2 for riotous behaviour.
A similar ease against Vergil Losoliiaoo, an Italian ,was adjourned to enable kirn to produce evidence in his defence.
The. Magistrate acquitted Temperley of desecration at the Cenotaph.
