Of a meeting at Which the American junior national 100 yards free style junior championship was decided the San Diego Sun lias the following:—
“Probably the most outstanding feat of (lie evening was turned out by Buster Olds, of the San Diego Athletic Club. Olds clipped 14 seconds off the county record for the 440 yards free style event for men. He swam it in 5 min 28 2-sscc” Tile Lost Angeles Times says that .the club has a. groat; swimmer coming to the front, in the New Zealand lad.
