Mr T. L. Mills left for Rotorua this levelling to attend the newspaper conferences to be, held there next week.
The death has occurred of Dr. Burrows, Bishop of Chichester since* 1919, aged 71. He- was previously Bishop of Truro. Air R. Watson Rome, Trade Assistant to the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, Liverpool, is touring New Zealand on a. commercial visit. Asked what he was doing now, the ex-Premier replied, that he had been a farmer all his life, ami during iho past couple of months had been look'ing after hSs farm, and certain commercial interests. He bar d* no a bit of harvesting this year.
