FAREWELL TO MRS GARDINER
The members of the Baptist Women's Missionary Union. '\uind lady friends m,:t in the church yesterday afternoon to say farewell to Airs C. D. Gardiner who is leaving the district and who 'mid been secretary of the 8.W.M.U.. After a sumptuous afternoon tea the President (.Miss Shearer) presented the. guest of the afternoon with a handsome apt silk eiderdown, quilt,' and expressed the; good wishes of all for her future happilness. Several otluir indips als 0 , spoke in appreciation of kindnesses received from Airs Gardiner. Misses Sumner and IBounett (2) contributed musical it ems.
