WRECKAGE ON LINE

OX THE HU XT RAILWAY (.Per Press Assoeiatk a), Wellington, Feb. 12. A passenger train from the Lower Mutt collided with the rear end of a stock train shunting across the main line at Thorndon at 7.40 a.m., wrecking and derailing four trucks and killing 10 sheep.

The jiernnmeiit way was very little damaged, hut some time was occupied in clearing the wreckage, hut only one outward train was held up.
