The Master .Grocers Federation opened it s con lei ence 'here to-day delegates being present from all over the dominion . , The Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Commerce and Industries, in his opening address appealed to all traders to support New Zealand goods, which in quality and packing quite equalled the. overseas article. He indicated that the cash order trading inquiry would open in Wei lingtou about the end ol this month and asked for tlie conference’s opinion. Referring to the Government’s interference in business, the Minister said l/e preferred that traders settle! the marketing problems for themselves .
