The Kairanga. County Council decided to make -application to have certain roads declared as main oi subsidiary highways.

Cr Small disagreed with this last statement, but agreed that the roads mentioned by Cr Anderson should be declared highways. Cr Cheetbam: We need a subsidy Wo cannot maintain the roads out of rates. Cr Small: There is an enormous quantity of traffic on those roads. Cr Cheatham seconded the motion, which was carried.
