Makura yesterday. stated that he would rather not express any opinion. “Bub I venture the. view','that the New Zealand ,Government has taken a. wise step in sending Colonel S. S. Allen, D. 5.0., toi Samoa as llm new: Administrator. Sir Henry Scott is a member of both the Legislative Council and the 'lvxccutivc Council of the Crown Colong of Fiji. He lias filled the position of Attorney-General on many occasions in the colony.
