Alulhollaud, chairman of the Wliea.t Committee: “In a eommuniqui' issued on April 10 the lloiirmillsers of New Zealand, informed -flic farmers that they had made an agreement to pay ok 7d on trucks for next year’s 'Juscan wheat. .Members of the Wheat .Committee considered til’s announcement and decided to recommend growers not to make contracts n.t this low price, but to await the committee’s proposals. which, will be ready shortly; 'l’he committee draws •particular attention to this direct evalence bi buying organisation on the part id the millers, wlrch is given by this an nouncement, and stresses the great need of action to meet* it on the, pai t of growers."’
