Sydney, that Johnny Curley was awarded a victory at Sydney Stadium over Paul Demsky through a technical knockout in the fifth round of a 15-round contest. Demsky went down for nine seconds hut win'll lie recovered his feet he was not fit to continue, so the fight was awarded to Curley. Demsky had taken the count for nine seconds in a. previous round.
