FAILED IN THE TEST
NUN-INULAALMAULE SUIT
(Aust. and N.Z. Cable!. Paris, AJareh 11. Suzanne B’quof, a well-known air woman, narrowly escaped burning and death at Vincennes while testing a non-inflammable air suit of her o\ui invention. Clad in silvery looking overalls and a helmet and gloves, which, were coated with a, species of white cream Aldlle Biquet demonstrated to a small crowd. The suit was plentifully besprinkled with methylated sp fits and then set on lire. At tirst, all went well, and when the suit was fully ablaze a voice from the- midst of the flames said: “[ do not even feel warm.” Hall a minute later, however, a shriek of agony was heard and the non-inilain. mablu suit was on lire; Three soldiers hurriedly eveloped the Hying torch in blankets and extinguished the flames. Aldlle Biquet was not seriously injured, but was disinclined to repeat the experiment.
