'At yesterday’s meeting of the AYnnganui Education Board there wore, present- Afessrs AY. A. Collins .(chairman), J. Ait-ken, A. Hiekford, T’>. I. Hemingway, J. K. Hornblow, H. Mclntyre, W. Adams and AV. Wood, loffe.
The chairman said ihat for vacant positions there- was no dearth of applicants and the appointment of probationers, probationary assistants and substituted assistants was receiving attention and would shortly be completed. ; THE RESIGNATIONS Rbignat ions.—Aliss L. It was resolved to send a letter and ,a certificate to a. pupil of the AVestmere School who lias, with the exception of one (lav, made the possible attendance during tlie past seven years. Approval was expressed of tho award to Derek Waldogravc, Terrace End School, of tho Lieut. Gray prize, 1928.
