Tho territorial camp oil tho Alar ton racecourse is now in. full swing, and. the men have settled down to camp life with zest and enthusiasm. An impressive ceremony took place when Alajor-General R. Young, Commander of the New Zealand Forces, presented the regimental 'colours, which consisted ot a Union Jack and the regimental colour* with honours emblazoned thereon.

General Young referred feelingly to his old associations wU-h the regiment, it being the one in which he first gained a commission. Amongst those present were Colonel W. H. Cunningham, another old comrade of the battalion, Col. Hughes, Col. C. G. Powles, and Surgeon-General Skerman.
