TERMS OF NEW MEASURE
CHANGE MADE BY BISHOPS

Consequent, upon the adverse vote of the House of Commons last month on the Prayer Book, a measure embodying tile changes which the. House Of Bishops propose to make in the rejected measure is published to-day. It will bo introduced to the Church Assebly as at session beginning on February 6. It is hoped that the necessary consents in the Assembly and Convocations will be secured tor it to he presented to Parliament by Whitsuntide. The Prayer Book changes made bv the Bishops propose that prayers for the King shall he compulsory morning and evening, that the so-called “black rubric against the doctrine of tra'nsubstanti.ation he priced at the end of the alernative communion service, and that the draft rules respecting tko mode of preserving the blessed sacrament t>€' made, with certain modifications, an integral part of the new Prayer Book in the form of rubies.. —British Official Wireless.
