MONKEY JOCKEYS
IX GREYHOUND RACES (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). , Sydney, Dec. 21. An innovation was provided in the greyhound races when in two of the events the dogs were ridden by specially trained monkeys. The first event was over hurdles and Hie second a flat race. In both races the monkeys retained tlieir mounts. One dog after the race cleared a six-foot gate, but the jockey refused to he shifted.
