The Italian Ambassador here, oil behalf of the Italian Government, presented the. British Government with the, first copy printed of the special eoliteralry edition of Tjgo Foscolo’s poems, prefaced with., the i oil-owing inscription signed by Premier Mussolini : -

This volume, will he placed m the British Museum. ‘ ■ Foscolo, was buried m Turnhnm Green cemetery, and his remains were transferred tft Florence m 1871.
