DISTINGUISHED MEN
ARRIVE IN NEW ZEALAND (Per P ress Association), Auckland, Sept. 12. A number of distinguished public men arrived at, Auckland by the Niagara- to-day. Sir Henry Cowan M. P.. for North Islington is accompanied hy Lady Cowan. After touring the North Islands,they -will leave for ‘Australia where Sir:. Henry will continue his investgaton of immigration affairs. Sir Williafs Raw chairman of the Australian Associated of Commerce is returning from London. The Right Hon. Edward ShortL. Chief Secretary for Ireland in 191819 and Home* Secretary from 1910 to 1922. also arrived bv the Niagara. The main purpose of his visit is to inspect the Arapuni works on behalf of the Armstrong Whitworth Company. .C
