(Received September G, 2 p.m.) Loudon, Sopteinher 5. “What is Miss London, going to he this autumn P” was the question at a .secret trade show at Olympia. “Oh, ladylike!” replied a dress designer.’’ “This winter she will lie very ladylike.” Evening skirls will lie longer, some having trains of two yards and others deeply fringed. Skirts and waists generally will he two inches higher. Sports dresses will he slightly longer, lint day dresses will not he changed. Hats will he quieter, fitting like a. skull cap, with inlaid trimmings, brass studs, leather discs and mosaic colours. Mannequins paraded, showing new smoking suits, aviation suits, and boudoir suits, all with Censers. The latest dress colours included peachstone, musk pink, Naples yellow and Veronese green. Stockings ni'o all shades of brown, with hand-painted pansies on the knees.
