Speaking nt the public reception Mr Kent, for the New Zealand Hockey Assecation, welcomed the team and congratulated them on tho»r successful, tour of Australia. g Members of team agree that, they had a. fight royal time over there. Aff Williamson, manager, says there is a great improvement in the New South Wales team since a number of them were here last winter. The test match against Australia at Brisbane was a good hard game in which both teams were rather too eager to- be able..to .give a good exhibition. Unfortunately, shortly after starting the second spell Cole playing right half . received a knock on the knee which, partly disabled him although it did not cause him. to leave the field. 4v The team, plays Auckland at Born nova this afternoon.* !
