AN EXHAUSTIVE INQUIRY
The Premier informed a deputation yesterday jthat exhaustive -in-
quiries were in train to ascertain how much more New Zealand ordinary building timber could be made to fit in with the requirements -of the State Advances Office, in accordance with the. policy of thatDepartment. The Mayor of Raetihi (Air W. -V Sanford) said the Prime Minister’s announcement was one that- woufl be welcomed by many people m the Domiion.
