Island wether sheep, 4864, 6;jd per lb; 64-72, s£d; ordinary 48-64, 6d. North Island' ewes. 48-64, 4jjd; 64-72, 4£cl. ~New Zealand prime ox beef, 160-220, 3|d. As compared with last cabled advices, ordinary wethers are Id per lb dearer, others 3-d pjer lb dearer. Tlie market for mutton is firm, influenced by small shipments from South America. *
