(When a boy named Mervyn Alin in was attacked by a shark at Port Hacking a youth named Stanley Gibbs went to his rescue, punching the monster until it released its hold. Gibbs commenced to swim to shore, pushing Alluni before him. The shark again attacked, hut was beaten off until a boat arrived. Allum subsequently died from his injuries).
