LOCKSMITH AND'JOINER ARRESTED. Paris. ' Two young men. a locksmith and a joiner, fought a duel with revolvers at midnight for the hand of a young flower seller. Victor .Piters, the locksmith, and Marcel Deville, the joiner, were both in love with Lauriette Lobeau. Neither man would give way to the other so after a quarrel they decided to fight a duel to the death, the survivor to have the girl. The men met in the Chaumont Park, and, after standing back- to back, walked 50 paces faced about, and opened tire'. Six shots were exchanged without result and then .the police arrived on the scene and arrested both the duellists.
