During the past 12 months -!G per sons filed petitions' in bankruptcy in the local district compared with 25 for <1925. Twelve were from residents of Palmerston North and fom of Feilding, compared with eight and five respectively for the previous year. Included in this year’s total are eight farmers and an equal nuni her of farm employees, a farm manager, three labourers, an architect, a printer, fruiterer and confectioner.
