OBITUARY.
SIB JOHN ROSS. (Per Press Association) Dunedin, Jan.s. Sir John Boss is dead, aged 92 years. He was the . founder of the firm of Ross and Gtendinning. Born at- Oaithiess in Scotland, he came to New Zealand in 1861.
His benefactions dpripg his lifetime included T20.Q00 to .Presbyterian Churches and Knox College, and £5900 to the Boss Home, -which -was named after him.
