HAND BADLY CRUSHED
CAUGHT IN jU A CHINE BELT. (Per Press Association) Christchurch, Jan. 4. A) bile working this morning, Austin E. Badham, 20, single, an employee of Williams, Stephens and Co, Team street, had his hand badly crushed through getting it caught in the- belt of a- machine. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where an operation was performed and he is reported to* lie recovering.
