A COOL MONTH
REPORT ON ’DECEMBER. DULL AND CHANGEABLE (Per Press Association) Wellington Jan. 3. The; weather summary for December states that the month proved to he a cool one, with dull and changeable weather, quite in accordance with the general backwardness of the season. Average temperature was reached on December 29. when 74.7 degrees was recorded’. On the morning of the 4th thp. lowest reading (41.3 degrees) was registered. The month’s rainfall was half an inch over the average, the total being 3.78 inches, .with n. maximum fall of 91 points on December 11. There were four days without any bright sunshine at all. the total 'for the month, being 211 hours 10 minutes, over 28 hours less than the average. There was less wind than usual, the dairy average velocity being 40 miles less than the average. The daily Average was 2384 miles, with a maximum of 593 miles on. the 14th and a minimum of 36 miles on another day. BaromeTric pressure fluctuated lietween 30.512 inches and 29.601 the average being 29.935.
