FOR PLUNK FT SHIELD
(Per Press Association) Wellington. Dec. 23. Considerable interest attaches to the Plunket Shield match Otago v. Wellington. The Wellington team appears to he the most solid combination. Selector Tucker has put in the field for some seasons, while the southerners are also a particularly strong side. There is every prospect of the match, producing a heavy scoring, while a close and interesting finish is expected. Dickenson’s appearance is looked forward to with special interest, likewise that of Blunt and Blamircs. The match will he played to'' a finish.
Wellington's team will come from the following 12 players; Brice (captain), Hiddleston. T.owry and- Worker (Hawke’s Bay), Dempster (Wanganui), Kortlang, James, Lambert. Hollings, Badcook, Henderson and Hoard.
